[C320-list] Yanmar mixing elbow assembly

Go to your local automotive parts store and ask for something to seal the
threads that will withstand
lots of heat.

At one point my threads were leaking and I did seal them, but forgot what I
used.

Why would need a sealant ?  I just replace mine and I painted  the exaust elbow
. Which after 10 hours , the paint is gone but the mixing elbow , thread
connector  and exhaust are doing fine . Just get the angle right .  Tom 916

Geez, it is hot out,

oes anyone know if there is a recommended thread sealant for the threaded
onnector joint between the mixing elbow and exhaust take off? The new joint
ooks stainless but draws a magnet well, alloy? The thread is left hand on one
nd and right on the other. Any thoughts on why, other than to match the mating
ast pieces.
