[C320-list] Yanmar mixing elbow assembly

Why would need a sealant ?  I just replace mine and I painted  the exaust elbow . Which after 10 hours , the paint is gone but the mixing elbow , thread connector  and exhaust are doing fine . Just get the angle right .  Tom 916

Geez, it is hot out,

oes anyone know if there is a recommended thread sealant for the threaded 
onnector joint between the mixing elbow and exhaust take off? The new joint 
ooks stainless but draws a magnet well, alloy? The thread is left hand on one 
nd and right on the other. Any thoughts on why, other than to match the mating 
ast pieces.
