Chris,
    There should not be any blisters, but if they are they are most likely cosmetic and forming between the gel coat and the protective vinylester barrier coat.  I hope this helps.

  It's my understanding that a 1998 C320 should have the vinylester on the hull. I bought this boat a year ago. It's been in fresh water continuously since original commissioning. I'm getting ready to do the first bottom job. Do you have any ideas as to whether I should expect any blistering?
