I have had such a salt water leak from a screw that came out of the port side base of the water pump, and also from a crack in the elbow flange on the aqua lift muffler's engine side -- which I think was caused by vibration from the engine running.

Check the water pump and all it's fittings.

I have a continuing leak only when the fresh water gets up to temp. May have it solved. Just replaced
the overflow preventer on the hot water heater. But so far I've replaced the back flow preventer, replaced
a short hose off the hot water heater (cold line going in) and replaced the a cracked fitting. Also tightened
up two other fittings that were leaking. All under the sink.  All these happened one at a time.

still have a pesky leak from somewhere aft into the bilge. I'veeliminated the aft water tank (drained with no change) and have prettywell verified that it has something to do with motoring.  The leakstops after a few days away from the boat and begins again after a dayof sailing with motoring in and out of the slip.  Then the leakdribbles for several days before it quits. There is no antifreeze in the water. Other than the packinggland, anyone have other ideas?

Thanx
