[C320-list] In-mast furling

Not sure of the brand but I suspect that they are all pretty much the same. I had a Z Spar (now US spars) two line system on on a Beneteau 281 before I got my 320. You can find diagrams and instructions at the US Spars website. If you know the manufacturer of you system, they probably have their own website. One of the most common problems is getting wrinkles in the sail when you furl it. This makes it hard to get back out. I found it best to be on a slight starboard tack when furling because it gives a straighter shot into the mast slot and keeps the sail full. Relax the vang and keep tension in the sail with the outhaul to get the smoothest roll. Halyard tension also plays a part and it will take some trial and error to get eveything set up right and be comfortable with the system. I second the concern about line size, make sure that you have the right diameter because it they are over sized, they wont run smoothly. My 320 has the continuous line system but regardless, furling mains are great.

Separate furling lines.
