Mike - Last fall I bought new rub rail from the Catalina Yachts factory in Florida. I think I ordered 68 feet and had about 6 feet left over, so next time I'll order 65 feet. It cost about $2 a foot plus shipping. I bought a white rubber mallet from Home Depot to "help" insert it. It goes in a lot easier if it's warm.
