[C320-list] foot brace

We use our dog.

Just kidding.....I haven't seen it on a 320, but a boat I once raced had
a simple teak bar, triangular in section, mounted to the cockpit sole
down the centerline. Profile was low enough not to be a toe breaker
when not heeled, and enough to get 'purchase on' when heeled - maybe 1
1/2" at the top / point. It was simply screwed into the floor and had a
backing plate inside the boat. Obviously you'd need to seal the
mounting holes well.

Only sail with tall people.

Actually the boat is much faster with and even keel and you should
consider
more use of the traveler.

I do not have a cockpit table and like the openness of the cockpit.
But
when the boat is healed over, the windward (uphill) passengers don't
have a
convenient way to brace themselves. Does anyone know of a way to install
a
foot brace of some kind along the center of the cockpit floor from the
binnacle to the companionway?
