I believe the amount is stamped on the identification plate on the transmission. 
You'll see 20/30 which means 20 wt OR 30 wt depending on ambient temperature and 
then .3l which is 300 ml. The gear ratio is also given there. Fluid is checked 
with the dipstick not screwed in.

I want to replace the transmission oil in my Yanmar 3GM30F engine and looked in 
my manual for the oil capacity. I find listings only for Engine Oil and Marine 
Gear Oil.  Can someone advise me?
