Torquing is also possible in a shallow slip where the boat grounds at low tide.  

I used 235 foot pounds and needed to replace several keel bolt nuts that were sub-par stainless and badly corroded, and two of the old nuts needed to be cut off. 

All of which took two strong guys and a pipe to extend the extension bar for greater leverage.

Pat Tyler lists it at 105 ft lbs from when his dealer did the deed.  Jeff 
Church says his Catalina tech that knows his stuff said it was 250 ft lbs. 
The Association wrench goes to 250.
