Rick, an electric motor(they are quiet) could help, but sailboat racing is (used to be) a corinthian (?) sport, oh well. Ken, OBUOY #219

   - Folding prop is on the list but it will also lower my PRHF rating and
I'm unsure if its work the penalty

   - Clean Bottom - I have VC Ocean that I personally wet sanded and the
bottom is cleaned every week the day of the race :). And there was one week
he missed cleaning and the difference was immense.

   - Back Stay - I did not fix my back stay adjuster yet although I have it.
I do know and have read the Chuck Yeager tunning guide and I think loosening
the head stay may help. I have the parts its my next project.

   - Spinaker - Yes I figured she would go nicely with one. But it would
also put me in a class with other spinaker boats. Is she a fast spinaker
boat? Also to fully rig her with a spin and all hardware and running gear
that is an investment I am not ready for.

I think for now I am going to take an old SALT's advice from the club and
down wind take an angle and jibe back and forth.

Thanks for the advice.
