Do battery chargers fail slowly (like batteries) or do they work, and then
just burn out like light bulbs? 

 

If they fail slowly, how can you gauge their health, and time for
replacement? 

 

I have had the factory installed 30 amp Charles charger for almost 7 years.
If they fail like light bulbs, how long should I go before considering
charger replacement?
