Thanks, Barb.
We had trouble in putting the sails on this year. Once there was a wrinkle, it was very difficult to correct the problem. We tried taking up on the halyard some more and lower the boom by loosening the topping lift as well as tightening the boom vang.... nothing seemed to work. I left to come home to check on the posting and couldn't find it. When I got back my son had "worked it out" but the specifics were vague.
Anyone have any other solutions than what we did try? I'm afraid of this happening while we are underway.

Fred, I don't know about the previous posting that you mentioned, but, first I would make sure the main is pulled all the way to the top. Stretch it tight. Then, when furling, I handle all three lines, the outhaul and the two black continuous lines, keeping tension on all three. It seems to work for us. Once we had trouble pulling the main back out, it had been furled loosely. Again, it needs tension on the line.
If you find more information, I would be interested in seeing it altho we have not yet had that problem.

I can't seem to find the previous posting about how to clear the "wrinkle" problem when the sail won't go back in on the in-mast furler.
Does someone have a copy? I can't find it on the website.
