[C320-list] Macerator

Tim,

Not sure of the actual model #, but it is the standard Jabsco macerator. As
someone else mentioned, you can try to remove the little rubber boot cap at
the end of the pump and try to turn it with a flat head screwdriver, but it
sounds like your impeller is gone. Your other option is to just replace the
impeller--there is a rebuild kit. I've done both and I would suggest
spending the bucks on a new macerator. The main reason is the newer models
(I had a '99) have a run dry feature--although limited, it does give you
somewhat of a safety margin...good luck..

Subject: [C320-list] Macerator

Does anyone know the model of the macerator pump on our c320 vintage 1999.
Seems
while I was flushing the water tanks I turned this on by mistake (on the
hard)
and ran it dry. Now when I turn it on it draws on the batteries but no
movement
from the motor. Need to replace so I can use the head!!

thx

For those interested, over the winter I did the engine pod upgrade used
John's
shopping list and it was a piece of cake to complete. I also added a 2 blade

flex-o-fold, very happy with it, again using the loaner tools, this too
along
with a new cutlass bearing were simple to complete.
