[C320-list] throttle walk

I think almost everyone has had this problem. Two fixes. One is to replace the
clutch inside the binnacle. The other is to put a U clamp on the cable (I
suspect that is the drag clamp mentioned) and tighten it until the throttle no
longer walks. The first fix takes time and will eventually begin to walk again.
The second works but remember to change the position of the clamp a couple of
times a season since the wire inside the plastic sheath will eventually wear
through and cause the opposite problem (very hard to move)

Subject: [C320-list] throttle walk
I just had a recent survey on my "new" 1993 320. The surveyor reported that she
had "throttle walk". That is, the throttle wanted to seek low speed and walked
its way from full on to a lower speed without holding where it was set. Has
anyone had this problem? The surveyor said that I should install a "cable drag
clamp" on the throttle cable. I've checked online and can't find this part.
Nor can I find any reference to it. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance, for your
help.
