If you mean the stuff that's like "sand paint" kind of nonskid, I don't know.

You may find that it works better if you start with a deck that has been wet for several hours. Short of rain or a hose to keep it wet, try starting early in the morning with a deck wet from dew. If you have a pressure washer this does a remarkably easy job of cleaning the nonskid. Then the teflon wax thing makes it clean easier in the future.
