[C320-list] cabin overhead lights

These lights are a little tricky to take apart. On the back plastic rotating "eye" of the light, there is a thin black ring that snaps into the outer edge of the "eye" that retains the frosted glass over the bulb. Remove this ring, remove the glass, get access to the bulb. You can use your fingernail or a small knife to pry off this thin black plastic retaining ring. Make sure you use a very bright flashlight to see where the ring is as ti is very hard to see without good lighting. It is very simple to do, but a little tricky to find out how to open these lights for bulb changes or replacements.

BTW, as my lights burn out, I have been replacing the bulbs with several different LED bulbs to allow the lights to operate much cooler and use about 1/10th of the energy of halogen or xenon bulbs. Due to the high cost of some of these replacement LED bulbs compared to xenon or halogen, I have been trying several different brands to determine light output, color and longevity. Kind of a fun experiment. The one brand of LED bulb that I have already settled on for the reading lamp bulb replacements is Sensibulb by Practical Sailor. At $40/each, they are not cheap, but they use very little power, will last a very long time, and I have installed several of these in areas where we use the reading lamps a lot while at anchor.

I hope this helps!

These are the lights with a very small on/off toggle switch and the lens that can be directed different directions. Anybody know what they are or how to get them apart?
