goof off or one of those solvents will remove the adhesive (after a while) I wet a paper towel and let it sit on the dried goop for about 15 min and it came off pretty easily by using a credit card as a scraper. It did not damage the gelcoat. I have experimented with putting the new gasket material (mine also looks like #9) on the lids but didn't seem to make a lot of difference.

Style 9 looks like the one on my boat. Silicone 3/4" x 9/16". Anyone know
how to get the dried adhesive off and what to replace it with? The seal has
become unstuck, and falls into the fridge every time I open the lid.

I'm looking for gasket material too. Would something like number 4 or number
10 on this

do?
