Mike,

Yes, it looks like the same technology being used to lay out the relative positions on the course. Very cool. Wish I had that onboard while racing!

I also learned on a Hobie 16. Still sail one.  Absolutely agree with your sentiment about life on the wire.

The "big boys" are still feeling their way on these toys. As you notice, there is no one out on a wire...yet.
