[C320-list] 1998 Chainplate rust

Barkeeper's Friend, Zud, Kaboom or any other product containing oxalic
acid will remove rust or tarnish (with scrubbing). Oxalic acid is a
reducing agent, counters the effects of oxidation and will not harm
fabric or wood fibers.
