Simon,
Lesley will need a new battery for her defibrillator . What do you suggest. Please note that size is an issue.
I suggest that we don't sail near Wangi on the weekend as there are many celebrations due to one of GOLD medals for sailing

Hi Pat,

The $283 was an Australian price, but I did stumble across a US site the
other day that had them for the same sort of price. But remember, they come
as 3.2V batteries, so you need four of them to make the 12V.

Yes, it will depend on your usage, where you sail, and your cashflow.

Cheers

Simon

Looks like the intensity of the application will make a big difference in
the cost benefit. Since we day sail and make a short trip once in a while,
our amp hour consumption is minimal and will never approach the level used
in your calcs.

However, as costs come down, LiFe tech becomes a more interesting
alternative. Especially if they are universally available. Please,
provide your source for $283 cells.

Pat, 801
