[C320-list] SF Visit - what to do - response

Many thanks for all the tips Pat.  I'll print them out and take them with us.  The shipwright who's just done Topcat's engine service also suggested the yacht clubs and said he was shown round Golden Gate so I'll remember to bring my local yacht club membership card.

Martin has booked to play at Pebble Beach and your suggestion of going to the Pro Shop to buy a LOGO ball will give him a chance to step on the hallowed ground, as well as your suggestion of where you can walk close to the course.  He's particularly interested in Cypress Point because it was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie who also designed the club he belongs to in Sydney, New South Wales.

Yes, it's only a fairly quick trip.  We'd love to come back again for longer but there never seems to be enough time.
