[C320-list] Microwave again

I have been thru this hunt and was not successful. As for the rubber feet, most of the ones that I saw had the rubber feet in the front but the "feet" in the back were stamped in the metal bottom panel-- not removable unless you flatten them with a hammer.

Since I could not find one that fits, still can't, I did go to the boat to
measure just to be safe. Either Myron is wrong or Catalina modified later boats,
mine is a 99', the height dimension was 9-7/8", not the 9-5/8" that Myron
reported for his boat. Still the smallest height microwave I can fine is
10-1/8", too tall. I will go to some local stores that advertise this size to
see if removing the rubber feet will make it work. I can replace them with
thinner pads so that there is still air circulation beneath. If that does not
work may consider getting the one I have repaired but certainly don't know where
to go to have that done. The one on the boat now, which is a replacement for the
original, is a Tappen, only 9-1/2" HIGH.

It has been my understanding that the opening on later boats is larger than on
the early models. This is one reason why I had my microwave repaired rather than
buy new. I couldn't find one that would fit. Later, there were a threads

on sources of new microwave ovens with smaller dimensions that would fit. Do a
search on our archive on Google. There are a bunch of threads on "microwave"

Thanks to Myron on the dimensions, now need to find a microwave. It seems the
tough part is the height, Myron says his opening is 9-5/8", the smallest
microwave I can find anywhere is 10-1/8". Don't recall if I removed the rubber
feet on the last replacement? This means I will have to go to the boat today
after all. Too bad.
