Warren,
I think the are very similar so far most the parts that I boat
are identical. Perkins engine are actually designed in Japan and
then licensed to Perkins and later Volvo.    The very similar model for
Volvo is MD2030A

check out this nice website that have all part number and
details drawing of the the MD2030A.

For the life of me I could not find the Perkins part list it is like a
hidden secrets.
