[C320-list] Spinnaker Hardware

I replaced the bolt through the bow roller with a half inch eye bolt. That
puts the eye for the Assymetric tack in the centre of the hull.

For the roller furler I used the old block and jammer from the dis-used
Dutchman system and shackled it to the leading edge of the pushpit. Sounds
like the same as Dave Swanson. It works fine but I have to pull the line
forward to get it to jam.

Just a comment on the Maryland Fees. We pay $182 (AUS) per year for 320
registration to the New South Wales Gov, about $195 US. Seems to me that
you guys get off pretty lightly.

Subject: Re: [C320-list] Spinnaker Hardware

Dave,

Thanks for the information. I've been using the bail on the anchor
roller myself. I have an ATN sock but not the tacker . I found
some strops in the west marine catalog that I think will do go.

Do you have a model number of the block your using. I've been looking
and not found anything in the catalogs that I think would work.

turning blocks.  The spectra strops and lashings to the turning blocks are
nice and soft compared to stainless steel shackle or clip hardware.  These
strops loop through the stern cleats to anchor the turning blocks. The
blocks turn well and align very well to the main winches with the "soft
shackle" custom strops on the cleats.  Hardware for this turning block
application seems like it should be soft, yet strong, hence the spectra
strops.  Easy to stow with the sail and deploy on the cleats when using the
Asym.

quite finished (about 75% there).  I was planning on submitting it this
