The trouble with crossing Bass Straight in the Sydney to Hobart is that it's
a race.  Nothing like testosterone driven racers to head out in dire
conditions and make it very hard.  Last southern summer I took my C320
Tegwen across Bass Strait and around Tasmania and it was most enjoyable.  We
spent lots of time awaiting suitable weather windows and that of course is
