Given that it is not supposed to be exposed to water, a metre or more from
the motor, near to the centreline, not at either end and preferably low
down, I mounted mine on the front of the dividing bulkhead in the lockers
under the port settee.  I have to be careful not to put iron or steel
objects into these lockers but otherwise seems to work fine.
