I posted the diagnostic procedure on our website that Jamie Pett put on this
list some time back.

The article is here:

I don't know offhand about the Oil pressure sender.

Good Luck!

Subject: [C320-list] New C320 Owner

I purchased a 2000 C320 (#680) a week ago. I have been receiving the C320
e-mails and
look forward to the support the members offer. Can back e-mails be
searched by subject??
I was happy to locate a C320 with a Yanmar engine for it is a similar engine
to what my C&C 36 had.
I am researching the C320 engine which is a 3GM30F, but may be able to save
time if members have the below data:
My engine water temp gage goes full hot on turning the key. I get no
temp alarm when the engine is operating and no indication of a hot engine
(feeling hoses and the sea water discharge) feel normal.
It appears there are two sensors (one for the gage and the other the
alarm?). I am not sure the sensor is Yanmar as the gage appears to be one
Catalina installed.
Also, has anyone found an oil gage installation (sensor and gage; T-tap
at engine and electrical wire to gage).
Any thoughts, part #'s, and experience on the above questions would be
appreciated.
