Ben,  My advice is to consider where you desire the most cool air---V-berth----Main cabin---Aft bedroom??  When you decide what area you want the most air, you can select the proper location for the unit.  Your region probably does not reach 115 F as it does here in Texas--HOWEVER, the sleeping area was our aft cabin, so we located the unit in the starboard laz.  Most cooling into the bedroom, and runing the duct work was "easier".

Does anyone have volume measurements for the C320(LxWxH)? I'm looking at
installing AC and trying to size the unit correctly. I can take all the
measurements myself, but though someone might have already done it. Also,
any reason not to place unit behind forward water tank in the V Berth? Lots
of room if I take out the 2 drawers that we never use except for junk?
