[C320-list] Air Conditioning

Been there, done that.  I used a King Air 16,000  BTU unit and decided on the analog controls due to power surges at the marina.  Did it as a one person operation.  Unit is mounted in the starboard lazzeret.  I ran a seperate power tap for the unit off of the input from the shore power.
  A/C duct outlets were installed in the aft cabin and over the refrigerator bulkhead. Total job required about 9 hours.
   The second installation on my friends 320 took about four hours---he helped---and he used the digital controls.  Works fine either way.  We sail on Lake Texoma, borders Oklahoma/Texas with sun and temps rather high.  At 115 on a sunny day, they just work hard to keep temp and humidity bearable.  Ken

has anyone installed an A/C ? Where did you locate the unit?, route the
wire?,route the duct?,
does 16000 BTU sound right for gulf coast?
any recommendations on manifacturer. I'm looking into Flagship Marine AC
