[C320-list] Air Conditioning

I had a Webasco FCS unit installed in the port locker with one vent in the aft cabin and one over the fridge like others have mentioned. Intake next to the engine through hull with water pump in that space (below waterline). Output water on the starboard stern quite low to minimize noise. The unit is quite small and works very well in coastal NC heat. Pretty simple set up. I did have a separate 30 amp circuit installed with its own breaker so the entire electrical system is separate from the house system.

My boat had the AC installed when I bought it so I cannot give you any first hand info. However when I look into the installation, it looks like it must have been a bear. I don't know how they got it in there.  The unit sits just above my diesel tank in the avt starboard locker and it is really a tight fit. The duct is routed down the starboard side with vents in the aft cabin, head, salon, and v-berth. I can't even get enough access to the unit to find a serial number or ID the size. All the vents can be closed to route the air to where you are spending most of your time: not sure I ever open the one in the head.  It works well but trying to cool an uninsulated boat sitting in the sun on +100 days is tough. Although it doesn't sound like much, the 10 to 15 degrees of cooling I do get on those days feel great.

has anyone installed an A/C ? Where did you locate the unit?, route the
wire?,route the duct?,
does 16000 BTU sound right for gulf coast?
any recommendations on manifacturer. I'm looking into Flagship Marine AC
