Randy, Myself and one other C320 owner replaced our old Shafts with SS this spring. In both cases we did not need to remove the rudder. With the cutlass bearing out and a little flexing of the shaft ( need another pair of hands to bend while one pushes/slides shaft up ) it will go in easily. Ricochet 407 Brian
