When my original Jabsco pump went about three years ago I replaced it with a more quite and reliable 5.5 gpm Jabsco pump. It fit in the same place as the old pump and has been perfect in three years. When I originally did this a lot of people on the list complained that you can't hear the pump when it is running. This device is so reliable is like a quite servant. I really like the belt drive which I believe adds to the reliability. I assume that the Rule 1100 is submersible, I have no experience with such a device.

my bilge pump seized up. replaced it with a Rule 1100. Anyone else using this one? is it reliable?
