With Boat US, I pay $1800 for my 1994 320, appraised by them at 53k.
Named storm deductable is about 20% if i remember correctly. Reason for this overall expense is her being based in the Bahamas and coverage available quite deep into the Caribbean. Price for being in paradise I guess!
A couple of years ago I was stuck by lightning and they paid out 22k to replace all the electronics with great new stuff, so I was impressed.
