David, 

My area is the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. In the past when I did a
circumnavigation of the Delmarva Peninsula, I had to pay an additional $25
for a period of time when I was in the Atlantic Ocean.

Rod, what is your covered sailing area? I have basically the same coverage
as you through BoatUS ( except medical payments $1000 per person/$25k
family), value if 2001 boat agreed at $60k, and cost I'd almost $300 more.
My insured cruising area is New Brunswick Canada to Jacksonville,
fl.........did you negotiate a lower rate? Any other New englanders have a
comment?
