[C320-list] Jabsco Sensor Max Pump

Hi group,

Well I installed my brand new Sensor Max variable speed pump (5.0 gpm) and it did not work as advertised. It did not put out much water pressure, the old pump does a better job. The pump did not speed up when I opened another faucet, just reduced the flow to a trickle. I tried everything I could think of including talking to Jabsco tech support. The pump did speed up when I turned off the water supply, but as soon as I opened the valve it would run slow again.
At this point I’m assuming that the pump has a defective sensor and am sending it back for a replacement. Anyone out there who has installed one of these with good results have any comment or ideas for what went wrong?
If the next one doesn’t work properly I’m going back to a conventional pump with a pressure tank.
