If you buy one of the sensor max pumps, you won't need an accumulator
tank, they deliver better pressure and are far quieter.

Hi Bill
I do not have the boat anymore so I cannot look, sorry. If the current
owner of hull 925 is on the list they could look. I sold it about 5
years ago.
I recall buying the accumulator at Home Depot here in Canada in the
regular domestic plumbing department. It was approximately the same
length as the pump. Sorry but I do not have more details. I got the
idea from an earlier list posting so you may want to search the lists.
My version was less sophisticated than the approach in the listing but
worked fine.

I cleaned the screen in the filter (which was pretty clogged) but still
have the problem.
What type of accumulator and where did u get it?

the pump and unscrewed from the pump with a wire mesh filter. In #925
the pump was under the aft berth and I added an accumulator mounted to
the same board as the pump to even out the flow, reduce hammer and
temperature fluctuations. It worked well. On the current boat the pump
is under the port bench seat in the main cabin and seems to give much
more even flow without needing an accumulator, provided I keep the
filter clean. Sorry but I do not know the pump makes.
