We had similar issues which were much improved by cleaning the pump filter
which was blocked with a selection of "rubbish".

Bill - I had this problem with the original pump, plus "hammering." I
replaced the pump with a Jabsco Sensor Max Pump. In addition, the filter
needs to be cleaned periodically. When the stars at Catalina cut the
inspection ports in the water tanks, the shavings went into the tanks. 10
years later and I am still picking them out of the filter several times per
year. I also have screen filters on the faucets and many of the plastic
pieces make it that far so these screens needs to be cleaned out
periodically.

To all,

We have flushed and charged the water system, water heater works well off
both the engine and shore power.
Took my first shower and the pump seems to pulse (not running smoothly).
Every time it pulses I get a blast of hot water, then when it stops it turns
cold. Impossible to get a consistent water flow and temperature. Any ideas
on why or how to fix this?
Thanks to all, new boat is really shaping up.
