 Larry,
I just received my system yesterday. I won't be ready to install it until spring gets here and I remove my winter cover. I clamped the various pieces of the system to a work bench just to see how it works and to run a piece if scrap line through it to get a measurement for ordering the real control lines.

I'm interested in your set-up running the control line back to the adjustable car. once you move it back either partially or all the way, will the car stay put or do you cleat the control line somewhere to hold it in place?

Do you, or any other folks remember how long their control lines are?

Thanks
Bill

On WindSwept I took the end of the control line that is pulled on to move
the car forward and tied it to the aft end of the car forming one continuous
loop. That way there is only one line. The loop can be as long as needed
it in case you want to make adjustments from the helm.

Thin line is what we have for bringing the Garhauer cars back.

I also use the Garhauer system and it works well on moving the cars forward.
However I have not found a satis factory solution on bringing the cars back
when rounding a mark. I tried to elastic, bungee cord and finally just went
with a thin line, anybody have a solution?
