Bomar, customer service Rep was a great help. They responded to my question
and I was able to secure the gasket. Now I am wondering about the replacing
the gasket. I would like to remove the hatch, take home and fit the new
gasket in a warmer environment.

How do you remove the hatch. Is it just a matter of removing the arms and
then remove four screws?

Then just remove the old gasket, clean (well), do a dry test fit, apply a
small bead of Sikaflex.

Apply a small amount of Sikaflex to join the gasket ends together?

Let cure for how many hours before re-install?

When you put the hatch back on do you apply Sikaflex to the screws?

For others: Below is what the Bomar Customer Service Rep told me: "If your
hatch was made before 1999, the gasket is P2000-25. If after 1999, it is
P2000-09. That is providing it has 1/4" acrylic lens. If it has 3/8"
acrylic, it will be P2000-25 regardless of the year made. Each hatch takes
7 feet of gasket. You could try purchasing through Holland Marine in
Mississauga."
