[C320-list] Painting Gelcoat

To the group,

I’m thinking about raising my bottom paint to the bottom of the boot stripe. 
The boat sits a little low in the water and the strip below the boot stripe 
and above the bottom paint (about 2”) gets really dirty and some growth.
Any ideas on surface prep. I thought a light sanding, wipe with solvent and 
2 coats of bottom paint should do it. Any other suggestions would be 
appreciated.
