Ditto. On our #62, the screws were of different lengths. Mark them as they come out. Putting them in the wrong holes can cause problems in the overhead of the aft cabin. Also, I rebidded with butyl rubber after cleaning and chamfering the holes. I like that better than the gooey alternatives.

Yes they do come off.  After removing the four screws I then used a really thin paint scrapper to break the seal.  I used a rubber mallet to force the scrapper into the bedding compound and was careful to not damage the fiber glass.  Then used goo-be-gone to clean up the surface.
