[C320-list] Holding Tank matters

Joe, Elizabeth, whoever, on our #62 we replaced the original holding tank
with a 22 gal. Ronco B348 tank. I have an article and a number of pictures.
One shows the location of the thru-hull in relation to the tank. Removing
the tank requires cutting the old hoses close to the fittings, plugging the
open hoses, and rotating the tank from the outboard end up before you can
lift the tank out. The new tank went in, in opposite fashion. This was not
the most difficult project I’ve done; but, it is a lot of work. Time and
patience are necessary.

E-mail me off-list and I’ll send the article and pictures.

Thanks.....I'm aware of the general location. If the holding tank needs

to be removed for any reason, the stem of the thru hull may impact that

process, if put in the way. I'm trying to decide if it should

go outboard of the holding tank, or forward of the right side close to

battery location.......Thanks....Joe
