This is a winter project for me. I just did Yanmar hoses.

I just purchased some self bonding rescue tape at West Marine after my water heater hot water output riser hose pin holed.

For the best prices on new hoses Check out http://www.mmimarine.com
The prices are about 50% of Defender

Here is a link to MMIs trident hose catalog:
http://www.mmimarine.com/mmi/index.php?pid=manu&get_start_word=T&item=list&manu_id=542

Then in the product search box type : TRI100-058 (if you are looking for heater hose 100 5/8 inch)

It would be nice if you all could post hose lengths and hose types when you do your hose refitting projects.

Thanks for the advice. I've not noticed the severe cracking even after our
very harsh winter, but I've got spare hose aboard and can do this project
soon.
