[C320-list] Water Pump Hose & Winterizing

I did something similar to what John did. I got a "T" fitting at an auto parts store that is used for flushing car radiators. It comes as a kit and has several different size fittings in the package; one of them was a perfect fit. I put a few pictures on the website. Look at technical photos and use keyword "winterize".

Hope this response makes it too the post because I've been having trouble having issues with responses not appearing in the threads.

I put in a T in the hose between the thru hull and the filter with a male
screw-in plug. To winterize I unscrew the plug and put in a male - male
adapter that I can attach a female hose end. In the fall I attach a hose
that sucks two gallons of antifreeze from a bucket. After that is done I
take off the hose and adapter and screw in the plug with plumbers tape.
