[C320-list] VHF radio replacement

 I'm thinking about replacing our original equipment (20 yr old?) Apelco
5160 VHF radio to take advantage of technological improvements (esp. DSC
but much more). I'm considering the new Standard Horizon Explorer GX1700
with built-in GPS.  Any experience or opinions?
