Lead is roughly 0.4 pounds per cubic inch. So roughly 64 pounds for 160 cubic inches.

A C&C 30, and a Cape Dory 30, offered confirmation, while at anchor, that yes, I list to port.. I assured them that she sailed just fine, and had no problem keeping up, or accommodating our friends, for the evening meals. When I replaced my 4d's I used a salvaged lead sheet about 20 inches, by 16 inches by 1/2 inch thick, to lay along side the battery tray on the starboard side. It tucks up under the seat, and seems to have brought her in line with the other masts along the headed dock in the Apostle Islands Marina. When viewed from the parking lot, my 320 was always out of alignment until my modification. Now no one notices any difference, and the cocktail hour commentary has progressed to other topics. As my wife tells me, "Just Deal with it".
