Jeff,
I do not have radar on my 320 but I do on a Pearson 10M tall rig in MA.
I used a SS pole on the single strand heavy gauge backstay. The reception is great, the Radome is 10 feet above the deck, and it all blends in well with the boat's lines.
Downside is cost I recall at about $1000 for the pole and gimbeled mount.

</div>Jeff,
I took the mast radar installation off my boat when I upgraded to the Garnin unit.
I installed it on a 2" Al pole(sprayed white) bought at an electric supply house for $52.
The rail clamp, bottom pivot and a couple of support struts came from Garhauer ($160?).
I stood on the Stbd. Seat and cut the pole for as high as I could reach, etc. this puts the unit above most activity on deck. The Edsen base at the top of the pole to mount the radar unit i found in a used boat shop ($75). I am much happy with the pole mount than the original mast unit for the close in performance I want..
The mast install took about 2 hrs.
If the Edson plate for the top of the mast is tooo $$ , buy a helm boat seat mount, as I recall
The seat post is 2" and instead of the seat, bolt the radar base to it, etc....
