I only drink bottled water on the boat so crud is not a problem.
Thanks

The cycling is due to a gradual loss of pressure (the pump has a pressure switch
on it) and is almost always caused by crud building up on the rubber diaphragm
inside the pump.

Although access is a bit of a pain, once you get the pump and mtror out you can
quite easily disassemble it and clean up the diaphragms. I should warn you that
what you find will probably put you off consuming any water from the faucet that
hasnt been thoroughly boiled.
