[C320-list] Fwd: Wheel Steering Safety Notice

Rick, you are right about the periodic inspections if you are mechanical
and know where to look- I'm not. If I buy a car and one day
the  wheel falls off because I have a defective part while I'm going around
a curve at 75 miles an hour doesn't the manufacturer assume some
responsibility? Particularly if they knew about the defective part and did
nothing about it? By the way I think that attorneys are our answer for
keeping manufacturers in line. Without laws and attorneys to make sure the
laws are adhered to, what do we have- periodic inspections by ourselves?
