[C320-list] Electric Bilge Pump Inline Filter - Good Idea?

I needed to install a strainer on my boat. The pump started a continuous
run. It was lucky I was aboard. I do have another high capacity bilge
pump installed. That does not have a strainer because it sits above the
bottom of the bilge.
